Get Ready for the Diablo II 2019 Ladder Reset!

This year, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it will be resetting the Diablo II ladder on December 10, 2021, bringing new opportunities and challenges for players. To participate in this exciting event, simply wait until the realms return to service on December 10, log in to the server, and select the “Ladder Character” checkbox when creating a new character.

The ladder reset will create a clean slate where all ladder characters begin at level 1 with no previous items to help them. This means that players will have to start from scratch, building their characters from the ground up. For those who are new to Diablo II or its ladder system, this is an excellent opportunity to learn the game and compete against other players.

Please keep in mind that due to our long-term ladders, the vast majority of our players are playing ladder characters only. However, for those who have non-ladder characters, don't worry – all items and characters will be converted to non-ladder without being lost. Once converted, these characters will no longer have access to ladder content such as ladder-only rune words.

The realm will be unavailable for a few minutes during the conversion process. During this time, all existing ladder characters will be converted to non-ladder. Don't miss out on this chance to reset your character and start fresh!
